Vernacular Guide Entry - Project C2.5/Project Moolight

Project C2.5/ Project ‘Moonlight’ – a project undergone by Genosa II to facilitate the creation of a powerful class of human/Lucifer Hawk hybrids in response to the results of Project C2.

Project Moonlight was a project Genosa started soon after he realized he would ultimately be unable to control his previous project, C2. The project was named Moonlight because of the fact that the majority of the work was carried out on the major facility buried underground on the moon. This facility is the Primary Hive.

Project Moonlight used a collected set of genetic material and specific genetic markers collected from various powerful Lucifer Hawks and other beings, including demons, dragons, elves, and more. There were several batches of paired genetic material, each different in its specific make up but anticipated to create the same results. Each of these batches was matched up to a set of pre-selected human specimens of similar genetic variability to reduce the number or unknowns that could affect the results.

An error due to lack of required follow through resulted in the inclusion of Teana Rosencraft and April Gainsborough in one of the sets, the set that happened to use the cocktail that was used in developing Project C2. This cocktail/set match is the same that produced the current eldest members of the Rosencraft family; Yami, Anzu, Rini, Runa, Kenshin, Noa, Lafiel, May and Sisi. Other batches produced no offspring, the infants dying early or the fetus never developing, or the child having developed no powers or much less becoming an apparent carrier for any abilities.

Project Moonlight pretty much ended when they could not get their hands on an actual subject, i.e. Yami or one of the others. With Genosa’s ability to operate becoming more and more restricted by his ex-wife and the growth of power of the Yamiyugi period of rule, the moon facility was abandoned by Genosa and left entirely to his human collaborators who further had no choice but to limit their own activities to Earth’s surface.
