Reading Book of the Shadows
So, I started this blog almost two months ago now. From the beginning I was promising that I would share a story I've been writing as a hobby for some time now.
As I stated in yesterday's post, I've had to postpone some plans I originally had for how I would go about sharing that story. I haven't scrapped those plans for my website, but circumstance has inhibited my ability to roll it out and maintain it.
There is another solution out there that will at least satisfy basic short-term needs, i.e., where people can go to read the writings I've seemingly made such a big deal about.
FanFiction.net is a website you can go to to read all sorts of fan-fictions, not just anime. Personally I don't really have a whole lot against it. But, there are a few things that do bother me about their site. For one, I'm not a huge fan of the layout, which strikes me a tad bit dull. I would have loved a few more formatting options for the text you upload. For my purposes the limitation in tagging series means that my story, for now, appears as a simple Sailor Moon + Yu-Gi-Oh crossover, rather than the dozen or so plus stories that are actually involved. But all-in-all it's a good place to read some fan works from amateur writers. I certainly can't say with any certainty that a website run by me would get as much basic exposure.
I will upload about two chapters/entries a day for the next week or so, which should get the entirety of Book I up by this time next week. I will probably go through Book II and Book III at a rate of one to three chapters a week, mostly because I haven't proofread those books.
Here is the URL to the first book of the Book of the Shadows, First Moon Saga;

Here or there, feel free to send me a message, or comment directly. And I hope that you enjoy the story.
