A Little Teaser

To end this tiring week I have a bit of a teaser. It's an incomplete image... well, more incomplete than usual.

Yeah, the past couple of weeks have been relatively exhausting. I haven't had much personal time to do much of anything. Looking ahead I should be getting a slight bit of reprieve, so here's to hoping I have the time to put in some work on both the Book of the Shadows story and the artwork that it inspires.

As such, there is a slightly older art project that I hope to get back to.

As I noted last week, Anzu and Drusilla are likely my two favorite characters in my series. They're likely followed closely by Hime, but I'll get more into Hime another time. At any rate, Drusilla, or Kali as she is known among the Two-Six thereby became one of my favorite art subjects. When I first began crafting the art project, Gathering of the Two-Six, Kali was the second one I added to that piece, Anzushiro being the first.

If you go back to this post you can refresh your memory on the first entry into the Gathering of the Two-Six portrait. The image I am teasing today places to Anzu's left, your right as you look at the image.

As you can see it is a fairly rough drawing at this point. For one the full piece is a much taller one, a full body shot of Kali. Second, as you might be able to discern, her right arm should be resting on something. There is no background, this you can't see the armrest of the sofa Anzu is sitting on that Kali's arm is... well... resting on. Finally, there is a lack of overall detail. Certain fine lines are present, but many are not, particularly for the hair. What's more I at one point considered changing her dress.

While I continue to put the finishing touches on Izanami, this image of Kali is a priority of mine too. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can finish some of the work I've started.
