Crossovers and Dreamscapes

Alright, so I've been teasing details about my story for a few weeks now. To be honest my original plans have fallen through a little, but I have a temporary solution that I will be implementing this week (by Wednesday I think).

In the meantime, I will tease a little more with some details.

As should be understood by now, my Book of the Shadows is a fan-fiction that relies on crossovers from multiple anime, manga, and video games. That was the concept it started with and everything I have done since then has been a refinement of that concept. I take the approach that every universe that exists in those stories is connected one way or another, and my story reflects those intersections.

This process requires taking certain liberties with the respective stories involved. This is necessary otherwise the story would become a straight retelling of the exact story of the original. At the same time, retelling portions of the original story is necessary for the establishment of that link. As a result, the entire process of telling this story becomes a matter of balancing the two types of original - the original story I'm borrowing from and the original story I create from those borrowed pieces.

The first several books of the First Moon Saga is not quite as polished as my later stories because of this fact. Because it started as a pure hobby without a true goal in mind, it can sometimes lack direction and have a bit of an abrupt continuity between portions.

However, by sticking to it and through reviewing and editing I was able to clean up the first few books some, and improve the quality of later works.

So what I will do here is convey the list of works that make an appearance in the first couple books of the First Moon Saga. The following series, in alphabetical order, all make an appearance by at least the end of book three (chapter 39)  of the first series of the First Moon Saga, primarily by way of individual characters and their associated story, or by a cameo appearance;

Banner/Crest of the Stars
Betterman
Bleach
Final Fantasy VII
Inuyasha
Ruroni Kenshin
Sailor Moon
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Shaman King
Silent Mobius
Soul Taker
Tenchi Muyo
Trigun
X
Yu-Gi-Oh

Look forward to more updates on Wednesday.
