Ring In 2014!!!


There were a lot of memorable moments from 2013. Lots of news headlines, political stories, social interest stuff. The new generation of console gaming arrived, the advent of the new standard in high definition – 4K resolution – made its first splashes in the market. Personally, this blog of mine went live, and several of my artistic works went live through this site. For many reasons 2013 is a year to remember.

 
For many reasons 2014 can be even better. That is the promise of the future. I led off the first three chapters of the Book of the Shadows Second Star Saga talking about the way a new year brings so much promise while being as objectively simple as a turn of a calendar.

 
It's now 2014. It is a year full of hope and promise. There are 365 days left in the year. Forget that YOLO nonsense, but take advantage of each day and live your life well. Don't worry about making a New Year's Resolution, because you should be trying to do a little better in everything you do, every day. Remember that you have until December 31, 2014 to make 2014 better than 2013. And when 2015 comes around you can look at making it a little better than 2014.
