The Future of the B.o.t.S
Well, last week wasn't exactly as I planned. I got pretty heavily bogged down in other things. But it's good news for the future.
I got one post out last Tuesday. That day I also got the ball moving on my website with a little more... urgency isn't the right word, but close enough. At the same time I got a lot of focus in on writing a couple stories, and to top it all off there was a lot of time spent on a few pictures I'm trying to finish up. Last week was just one of those weeks where my creative drive just took over and supplanted everything else for a bit.
So, I have some good news. I am making serious progress, more than at any point in the last 12 months, to get that website finally going. Here's a little teaser just in case you are a little skeptical;

So yes, I definitely have a website on the build, and hopefully version 1 will be up in a couple weeks. I do note, however, that there is a lot of work left to go. For one, I have a lot of figuring out to do with regards to the manner of posting the actual stories. As a result, version one will feature a lot of background info, but you'll still need to go to FanFiction.net to actually read any of the stories. Even once that part of my site is up and going I do plan on still putting some versions on FanFiction, just to allow the wider sphere of readership.
Right now it's about filling in those details on the background stuff, such as character bios. Also building a collection of images so everyone can see in picture the characters of these stories. Some of the content will be completely new, some will be stuff I've covered here on the blog.
As such, I will not be able to spend as much time working on posts here on the blog as I normally would/might want to. I do have some ideas for posts I will be working on, and will put those out at some point, but don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for a few days. The spring anime season is winding down too, so that means I'll have to spin out some reviews before too long. It's starting to look like the last week of June/fist week of July is going to be very busy.
