The Book of the Shadows

There's not a TON of factual info here, just a question (and hopefully some decent discussion) related to the E7 story of the world some of the moonlight heroes come from. Potential spoilers if you haven't completed Ep 3.

Okay, so the story behind this project is a little complex.

 So I did a coin flip, and you'll be getting the bad news first.

It sure has been a hot minute since I've updated my progress on anything. So, here goes...

I’m not sure there are any fans of E7 that wouldn’t love to see Archdemon Mercedes appear as a playable character, and a good number of folks are convinced that Smilegate and Co. have already laid the ground work for that; they’re just biding their time until they reach the point of adding her.

When I originally created the Draco Forma image of Anzushiro, I was immediately both captivated by and unsatisfied with the final product.

A new project is on the way. It's a bit off the beaten path, in that it steps ahead of the curve, instead of redrafting it.

There is obviously a character with whom one of the heroines of Code Geass matches among Sunrise’s other giant robot franchise, Gundam. One of them is a princess, the other is treated as one. Both have tremendous lengths of bubblegum locks. Of course, as you can guess from the title, I’m talking about Euphemia and Lacus.

What's better than seeing your favorite video game in anime form? Not much, really.

The new anime season kicks off in earnest this weekend after the holidays. One series in particular I am looking at is called, Interviews with Monster Girls . The spiritual successor to Daily Life with Monster Girls , this series involves a biology teacher who ends up with three of the titular monster girls in his class. It promises to be as much of a habitual line-stepper romantic comedy as Daily Life was. It should be fun to see what this newest iteration of the renewed monster-girl trope brings.

With the Strawberry Moon and the solstice now behind us, we are officially into the summer season. To get things rolling this summer, here's a new piece featuring my current favorite story going.

Drum roll please... the unveiling of the top project for this anniversary weekend...

Anniversaries are special. Special occasions require special effort.

I wasn’t sure going into the end of 2015 that I would be able to either come up with an idea for a project, or complete a project, in time for Valentine’s Day this year. But, as it is seldom seen, I did stumble into a minor project of sorts.

It’s finally here. Took me a little longer than expected, but here we finally have the art piece I promised, featuring Yugi and Drusilla of the Cromwell Universe.

So I screwed up a little. The post that went up Thursday was supposed to be scheduled for today (Friday). At any rate, the facts of the post remain true, that being I've gone ahead an updated the Second Star Saga Book with a new chapter - Chapter 4: Liberation. It's live here  on FanFiction.net. Not an action packed chapter, but it is good. Please read it and let me know what you think, or if you have any questions. And as always, enjoy your weekend. Happy reading.

The day has finally arrived. I'll have at least one more post today with further details on the site and the publications, but for now this post is focused on art portion of today's activities.

I've probably only mentioned the First Star Saga a couple of times in the past with no real detail or anything of the sort. But it is one of the more complex and ambitious of the stories I've worked on mainly because of the effort I have put into making it so.

The day is getting ever closer. It looks like Friday is the long-awaited, often promised, day on which bookoftheshadows.com will go live. I'm cleaning up a few more things and filling out a little more content before I take it live.
