Teaser of New Artwork

Anniversaries are special. Special occasions require special effort.

It's a little weird to look up and realize that it's already almost the end of April. I mean, we had snow where I live just a couple weeks ago. I suppose since it's been over a decade since i'd even been in snowy weather, the persistent cold has hampered my sense of time relative to the seasons and time of year. The temps I've been living with now are more like stuff I'd only really get in the middle of January, maybe February, compared to where I was living a year ago.

But I'm not here to wax philosophical about my living environment. Three weeks from now it will be three years since I've started this blog. My blog remains a humble place, perhaps even more humble than any time in its brief past given how little I've posted here. It surely is a far cry from when I was getting started and putting up posts nearly daily.

Now, it's amazing if I can get one done a month, and far less of them of the wide flung social and political milieu that I once endeavored in. I envisioned myself once using this blog to expound on this election cycle in the US, but haven't even had the time to put forth any substantive effort in compiling my thoughts there.

All that aside, my blog still runs, albeit at a more haggard pace. Nevertheless, I keep it going because it's a better place to get detailed about my original intent behind starting this blog, my hobby activities, mainly writing the Book of the Shadows, and artwork of the characters therein.

Today it just a teaser, though. I'm almost done with this one to the point of doing my usual release, but I thought I'd do a bit of a teaser for it now. I will have the full piece done in time for the anniversary. My final plans for the anniversary aren't set, but it'll probably be just a dual, maybe even triple, release of artwork. For now though, enjoy this portion of a portrait to be released next month;

I'll be back next week with a teaser of another image. Hope to see you back here then!!
