The First Star Saga, First Moon Saga, and Cromwell Universe

I've probably only mentioned the First Star Saga a couple of times in the past with no real detail or anything of the sort. But it is one of the more complex and ambitious of the stories I've worked on mainly because of the effort I have put into making it so.
When I began work on the First Star Saga I had just cemented in my mind the fact that I would certainly be working on the concept of the Two-Six as the background element that unites the various stories I had interest in telling. It was also at the time that I had been so completely immersed in work on First Moon and nothing else that I had a number of ideas I wanted to use but couldn't fit into First Moon.

First Star deals a lot with mysteries. First Moon doesn't have a lot of mystery to it. You know for the most part where everything is going simply because much of the time I don't focus on trying to conceal it. mystery, however, is an element of First Star, and that is made abundantly evident with the very first chapter.

In terms of characters and stories that are covered by First Star you have a wide breadth. The overall story is split across two series, though I've done little more than basic initial planning on the second series. The series are named First and Second Nova, respectively.

The lead character in the first series will be Midna Celestine-Reinsworth. She is based mainly on Midna of Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. She rules the Twilight Kingdom, named as such for the event that predates the kingdom's formation. She is a widow with a large family, her husband the king assassinated several years before the start of the story. Her Chief of Staff and closet confidant is Shahazael al-Rahaman, based on the character of the same name from the Trinity Blood manga. Midna's several children hail from stories such as 07-Ghost, Nurarihyon no Mago, Chrome Shelled Regios, Yoku Wakeru Gendai Mahou, and Blood Cross. Midna's elder sister, discussed in the first chapter, is Marianne, based on Yomi from Ga-Rei. Furthermore there are appearances by Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Code Geass, Defense Devil, Pandora Hearts, Darker Than Black, and about a half dozen others.

The second series has an almost entirely different cast and touches on a number of additional stories. There's a lot that I will probably change before I actually get to the second series, but for now the main copyrights involved are Sora no Otoshimono, To Aru Majutsu no Index, Tsubame Syndrome, Omamori Himari, UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, Medaka Box, and Sailor Moon.

When it comes the First Moon Saga, you don't really need to ask a whole lot. Book III picks up right where Book II left off last year. Book II will be all about the Rosencraft travelling through space hunting down the Animus Blade. There is a lot of back-story and exploration of the characters involved. It should be an interesting story to behold.

As for Cromwell Universe, there too you should know what to expect. As the next chapter is a continuation of the story, there is a bit of a time skip involved. Truth be told much of the Cromwell Universe story involves minor time skips. That is because it's essentially a space opera. Short of telling some detailed story about Drusilla's travel to each destination in between, the fact that time skips a little is unavoidable. That being said I don't really focus on the fact that time skips so you may not really notice it after this next chapter where I explicitly note it. Chapter 2 of Cromwell is mainly the settlement of the fallout from the first chapter and setting the tone and story going forward.

So that's everything for the Book of the Shadows stories that I will be publishing tomorrow. I should have them all up on FanFiction.net by around 2 PM EST. Hope you enjoy the reads, and leave some feedback here, on FanFiction, or on my website, if you can.
