Spring Cleaning and New Features
It's time for a little bit of light housekeeping. Nothing major, just discussing a new feature I'll be rolling out soon.
So far this year I haven't spent as much time on my Book of the Shadows as I would've liked. It has been a rough going getting free time to do any real work on it. That being said, I have been able to do some stuff.
I've made little more progress on the First Sun Saga, which is very important. First Sun is the largest of my stories after First Moon. It's expansive and covers a large number of characters over a relatively lengthy series of events. It touches on several video game, anime, and manga of note including major focuses on Code Geass, the Fate/Stay series, Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, One Piece and Fairy Tail (One Piece a bit later on and in a sorta roundabout way).
The main characters are from Code Geass and a sorta hybrid between a character from the Fate/Stay series, one from Umineko, and one from Hatenko Yugi (hence book one is title Rahzel Dahzel). I'm still hoping I can have enough done by the summer to start releasing chapters for public reading.
I've done a little bit of work on Second Star Saga - the one that deals with a new Russian Revolution. As you may recall, however, I've put that one on the back-burner until there is a bit more of a resolution to the Crimea issue.
Haven't done much artwork at all. I'm still hoping to tidy up my portrait of Izanami and release that, but don't look for that until probably May or June at best.
Lastly for today, I will be adding a page to this blog. It will have definitions.
In writing the original Book of the Shadows I realized there were words and phrases that held a slightly different meaning as I scripted them relative to what one might consider normally, or what you might find in a dictionary. I had begun to compile a list of those terms and the meaning I portrayed for them. It's just a little something to make it a bit easier to see where the ideas in my story come from and where they're going. I'll probably start that tomorrow I think.
Last but not least, it is now spring, and it is now April, which means it is now time for a new season of anime. I'm in the process of finalizing my reviews for last season and compiling the preview for this new season. You should be able to look forward to that next week or so.
