The Book of the Shadows

Okay, so the story behind this project is a little complex.

 Haven't had an update out in a while, so let's go a little bigger than normal today. 

I only just realized this never made it up, which is really bad of me. Nevertheless, behold the angelic face of ruin. The amalgamation of gentle death and volatile passions finds release onto the battered world.

 So I did a coin flip, and you'll be getting the bad news first.

It sure has been a hot minute since I've updated my progress on anything. So, here goes...

When I first started this project, the concept was as simple as the original title – Red Euphemia. At that time, this project was set to be done before I got around to the Euphemia Alter one. It was as simple as Alter’s – Euphie in Nero’s dress, that’s all. But once I latched on to the Euphie Alter project and started the R3 Alter story alongside it, this one took a backseat. By the time I came back around to it, my theories for how to manage her color scheme shifted. I wanted to so something a little more, a little different.

Without further ado... the presentation of Euphemia Alter. 

The power of Geass is the power of Kings...

A new project is on the way. It's a bit off the beaten path, in that it steps ahead of the curve, instead of redrafting it.

For the second time in history, the capital will be a scene of terror, carnage, and flames. The home of the ruler will burn, and the people will quake with fear. It is the precursor to the end... A new revolution is on the horizon. The sound of trumpets resounds through the night, the stars blotted out by the black wings that deliver hellfire on the vaunted seat. The cries of the people will fall on indifferent ears, as the monarch, once and future, seeks ascension. And thus a final order is wrought, the bell tolls, and a new era begins. But before the new era, a period of accounting. A balancing of souls. Judgment by the flames of passion, hate, regret... a countdown to doomsday...

MAN ALIVE it’s been a taxing year! I had so many plans for stuff I wanted to get done, and hardly any of them happened. But I will get one more project out before all is said and done. You’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer before you get to see it though.

Summer is almost over, and winter is coming!

There is obviously a character with whom one of the heroines of Code Geass matches among Sunrise’s other giant robot franchise, Gundam. One of them is a princess, the other is treated as one. Both have tremendous lengths of bubblegum locks. Of course, as you can guess from the title, I’m talking about Euphemia and Lacus.

Hey everyone. Chapter 2 of the First Sun Saga will be up at about noon EST today, so I thought I'd do a bit of a synopsis of the important characters that appear in First Sun's first couple chapters.

The World of C is an alternate world, a sort of parallel dimension to the Earth that is at the outset of the First Sun Saga. If you’re more familiar with the relationship between the “world” and the Shadow Realm in First Moon, then you can somewhat think of it as being the same sort of thing here.

The First Sun Saga, particularly at its outset, has a lot of stuff going on. Some of it is definitely more meta fan-fiction based than others. But at the heart, it's all about my original goal - merging the worlds of various interesting anime/manga/games I've experienced.

It's been quite a while since the last time I published anything to FanFiction.net. That will change later this week, with the publication of First Sun Saga.
