MAN ALIVE it’s been a taxing year! I had so many plans for stuff I wanted to get done, and hardly any of them happened. But I will get one more project out before all is said and done. You’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer before you get to see it though.

It's been a while since I’ve been on my blog, but I'm back, however briefly, to share with you another few art pieces.

Christmas In July

Merry Christmas in July! No, it's not a "real" holiday, but you can still enjoy it like one, especially since it falls on a Friday this year. There are a few theories on the origin of the not-a-real-holiday holiday. One attributes it to a North Carolina Girl Scout  troop in 1933. Another pegs it as a natural reaction to the growth of the holiday, which celebrates winter, and the fact that winter for the southern half of the planet is during the northern hemisphere's summer months. So, if you're in Australia or South Africa and want to got walking in a winter wonderland, or dream of a white Christmas, the only way is if you celebrate the holiday in your winter. July happens to be the height of snowfall for Australia. For those of us who still have the actual day in December to look forward to, this day is more about adding a Christmas theme to regular summertime fun; eggnog spiked with your favorite colada, mistletoe made of cherries, snowmen made of sand at th...

I hope that everyone has a very blessed, happy, and peaceful Christmas Day. Thank you all for your visits to my page throughout the year (or however much of it my blog has been up).
