Some Year-End Housekeeping

So I have a little housekeeping to do today. It'll be a brief post this last week of posts for the year 2013.
So, next week is Christmas. Most years it seems to be such a long time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, which I actually loved. But this year it seems like the time really just flew by in a flash. I've been much busier this year than most, so that surely has a lot to do with it.

At any rate, this is the last week of posts I will be doing for 2013. As usual, I will be putting out a post on the respective holidays (Christmas and New Years). I sort of have ideas for special projects to do for those days, but with my schedule as it is right now I doubt I'll have time to finish them in time. So, simple greetings they will be.

As a result of the holidays and taking off from regular pasts, the 2013 Fall Anime Season will end and the new 2014 Winder Anime Season will begin before I can get back to posting. One show has already wrapped for the season (Mental Choices), and several more will be wrapping in the next couple weeks. So, I will be spending my first week of posts in 2014 (the week of Tuesday, January 7) reviewing the season gone by.

The past couple times I've done my season previews, I did it separately from my early season hits and misses where I pick the shows I will not follow, and which ones early on look promising. To accommodate my schedule this time around, I'll be rolling it into one post, possibly two over a couple back-to-back days. That will likely be the week of the 14th.

That week, or the next, I will debut my "State of the Realm" address. It is a fairly lengthy post during which I reflect on my accomplishments and failures associated with the Book of the Shadows (the story, not this blog specifically) over the previous 12 months. It's just a bit of a retrospective to see where I've been going and with that project.

From there on it should be back to normal order of business. So, I'll be back tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday for another few posts. See you then.
